Merino DK

This base is here to stay! Merino DK is a squishy, round 4 ply DK weight yarn that is 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. It is milled locally in Ontario and has 256 meters/280 yards per 115 gram skein. We recommend hand washing your Merino DK projects in cool water, using a wool wash like Eucalan, and laying them flat to dry. 

We love how well this base knits and crochets for a variety of projects like cables, garter & stockinette, granny squares, and more! It takes dye really well and we're always really pleased with how the colours come out. Just like Solar Sock, we love dyeing different styles on this base including speckles, assigned pooling, and variegated blends of colours.
